Christopher: He's not just a pretty face

The twenty year old Christopher has always had his ultimate dream to become a famous singer. His dream is coming true because he's getting more and more famous. As many others he uploaded his different covers to youtube at the beginning. He is a young Danish guy who conquers not only with his pretty face but with his amazing voice and personality. His first album "Colours" has just debuted and it is available in the USA now.

1. Your first album was released last year which is available in USA now. Tell me some details about the album, please.
   
   It is an optimistic pop album, with 11 confident songs with a young and contemporary sound. It's a very honest and straightforward album; most of the songs are about personal experiences that I've had in relation to love and friendships. Other songs about dreams and ups and downs. :)
    

2. When did you decide to deal with music?
   
   I have been singing since I was about 2 or 3 years old, and it has always been my biggest dream! Since I was like 15/16 years old my ultimate goal and dream was to release an album and being on stage, singing my own songs in front of people. :)
    

3. Which artist are you inspired by?
   
   I really have a lot of artists inspiring me in many different ways and aspects, but I must say that my biggest inspiration is John Mayer. He is probably the artist I have listened to the most of all time and he have really had a big influence on writing, how I look at myself as an artist and what kind of artist I would like to be. :)
   
    

4. How do you feel when you are on stage?
   
   I am the kind of artist that is 100% the same person on stage as off stage. When I am on the stage I’m not dancing or doing anything that isn’t me, at that means, when I’m up there I can totally be myself, focus on my singing and guitar playing and just enjoy it. :)
   
    

5. You recorded a track with Molly Sand�n for her new album. How was it working together Molly?
   
   Molly was really fantastic to work with! First of all it was a great song and she was just so easy and fun to talk to and work with. It was a really good experience. :)
   
   
    

6. You play the guitar very well. Do you play any other instruments?
   
   I play a little bit piano, but I’m honestly not very good. :) I have always focused as much as I could on my guitar playing and focused on being good at 1 instrument instead of being “okay” at 3 or 4 instruments.
   
    

7. What is your biggest dream which you would like to reach?
   
   It’s actually very funny how my biggest dreams have changed and are very very different now from just a year ago, or just a half year ago. 1 year ago my biggest dreams was ”just releasing an album”, but now it is more like “having a world wide No.1 hit song” or “playing sold- out arenas and stadiums” :)
   
    

8. You have had a tattoo made of the famous actor James Dean recently. Why did you choose him?
   
    I have always thought that James Dean was coolest man on the planet! I remember having a 100 pages book with pictures of him, when I was younger. It was actually my moms, but I stole it and I could look at those pictures every night. I just thought that cigarettes and motorbikes was the coolest thing in the world. And so when I started making music, one of the first articles I read about myself, the journalists referred to me as the singing James Dean. I thought it was quite funny and it slowly became a big part of the look. All photo shoots I attended in the beginning ended up with that James Dean / 50s style. It symbolizes a very exiting period of my life. :)
